Hi Dex! Stumbled your blog via DP. This post is absolutely hilarious! My hubs has given up on picking out clothes because he says it's just ridiculous that I would just take everything off and re-dress him once I saw his outfit. Now I have to lay everything out nicely for him... more work for me, but my hubs says "hey it's your choice, so don't complain!"

ah mud... we have SO much of it here after all the rain we've had lately... and on sunny days I just give in and let them play in the giant puddles. Mind you our kids also 'swim' in our dam which is stinky and muddy all year round, so the little puddles are nothing in comparison!

still trying to stick to the one meal theory but its not working. the eldest now knows what she wants but if we dont have it (likely) its a struggle. :( younger one now knows how to shake his head "no" for food is doesnt want. problem is, its everything, unless its milk in a bottle!

Wait till they grow older dex, that is not the only thing they are going to wreck.
I think you could say they inherited it from their lolo, remember he dropped the
television on the floor, so then he did not have a problem moving it to the other
room :)

Hey Dex,
My boys are 4 and 8, and I rarely cook different meals these days, unless I have made something I just know they will not eat, like Indian food, or if I know the MR and I are going to eat dinner later.
With my second born, I tried to integrate family food into his diet as soon as possible. Thank goodness for the hand held bar mix! This seemed to work well for him as he loved most foods. Now he is just going through one of those "don't like it" phases. The older boy eats everything.

Come on, you commented on tea tonight (at my house ) and it was delectable

my kids were milktarians for the longest time. so we've graduated from an "all milk" diet to an "i cant decide on what to eat so cook me everything" diet

Fussy eaters hey? Mine too. My mum says it's karma because I was the fussiest little minx ever! I have only JUST started making one dinner for all this year (our girls are five and seven)....I just couldn't face it any earlier as they are quite happy to go to bed with no dinner and wait until brekkie and that would result in me worrying a bit too much. Dinner time is slowly becoming less of a battle field but my hubby gets concerned more than I do about them all being 'fruitarians'
